DID YOU respond? to the post or comment that I sent you about FIRST IMPRESSIONS? I am still interested in advice that you would have with receiving compliments graciously. I have mentioned this to several of my girlfriends, and they say, its true - that I've become unapproachable. That it takes a lot for men to finally approach me & initiate a conversation, but all to quickly, i stop them in their tracks.. I think I want to date, haven't even given out my phone number in 19 months.. i know i loved being married, hate being alone, but obviously there is a real issue here for me to be kind & unwind.. lol.... so... can ya help? wintmegaeh@hotmail.com thanks

thanks for the info you listed about first impressions... been so long (25 yrs), I hadn't thought of that as being an issue. I could use your thoughts on receiving compliments. Apparently I haven't been too gracious. I am quick to respond about being a widow. For 25 yrs, I received compliments but had my husband at my side, so I was flattered but safe...now, I seem to be fair game.. not to comfortable with that...guys just assuming I'm available or interested. Like I said, I need help with responding to small talk. thanks
