Interests: Reading,cooking, sewing, drawing and painting and some other stuff that I can't remember just now. Okay, it's coming back....a little. Making music and writing. Singing harmony with others is a blast. I adore most animals. I like to swing dance and can tap a little. I love to learn. I enjoy interesting people. And I do love teaching. I can't imagine doing anything else as a profession. But I do get too attached to the children, and miss them terribly when they move up to another class. I've been trying to become better versed in other languages. I used to think this feat was beyond my ability. Now I see it as just expanding my vocabulary. I am currently trying to learn how to speak Manderin. After Chinese, every other language seems easy! Did I mention that I love to learn? I never want to stop growing and improving. Though it is tough to do at times. The inner workings of the human mind enthrall me. Why people do the things they do continues to draw my interest. I wish I could have more patience.

All of James Herriot's books. I like C.S.Lewis's writing, esp. some of his lessor known writings.Also...G.Campbell Morgan, J.I. Packard, A.W. Tozer. I like reading books in apologetics, too.

    More About Me: I am a teacher in a Christian school, so my faith is very important to me. I am accident prone, of legendary status. Talking to me via the computer should be relatively safe for you. However, I make no promises. Vending machines love me. They never cheat me, many times give me extra goodies and money. So, I'm a very good person to have on road trips. If you don't mind me bringing Priscilla , aka as the Velcro Mini-Schnauzer, along. Her manners are excellent. My cat Sammykitty is content to stay home and be a good Watchcat and Pest Control Specialist.
