    Music: Quiet music that calms the nervous system; some classical; some country/western, some soft rock. And you know, I truly love silence!
    TV Shows: NCIs, Criminal Minds, CSI ... as if I could stay awake through all of that! I like the National Geographic Channel and Animal Planet. Mostly, I don't watch a lot of TV. I'd rather sit on the patio and read or talk with a good friend.
    Movies: The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Secondhand Lions, all the old Star Trek movies -- I like adventure, spy/espionage, psychological thriller, and women's movies that touch the heart and have a deeper meaning.
    Books: Robert Ludlum, Tony Hillerman, Dan Brown -- murder mysteries and fast-moving plots. Jack Kornfield or Phillip Moffett for Buddhist psychology for today's western mind.

    More About Me: I'm an eclectic sort of woman, with a vast and broad range of life experience. Life has taught me wisdom, brought me maturity, deepened my compassion, heightened my passion. My excellent mind has given me the ability to understand with logic. My soft and loving heart has given me the ability to understand with emotion. These two things bring a well-rounded approach to life, to love, and to experience to me, a woman with basically simple tastes and interests. I will choose a quiet dinner with good friends at home over a crowded, noisy restaurant. I will choose a hike in the desert or a kayak down a river over a week-end in Las Vegas. I will choose silence over noise. I will choose deeper conversation among just a few friends over the shallow chatter at a big party. I will often choose the company of animals, or those who love animals, over those who prefer to be on stage in life. I will choose a deck with a beautiful view of a natural setting over a high-rise with a view of city lights. I can listen with empathy. I can share with honesty. I can love with openness. I can be angry and still be kind. And I am a force to be reckoned with!
