The beach: walking along it and enjoying it on a sunny, cloudy or rainy day. Reading a good book. Talking to complete strangers. Enjoying the beauty of God's creation. I see it too everywhere I look!

  • My Favorites

    Music: Praise and Worship. It can be Gospel, contemporary, alternative even rap. I got hooked on the music from Cuba when I saw a video produced by Ry Cooder called the "Buena Vista Social Club". Jazz, Classical, Celtic I have so many favorites. I really like music it has the power to change your mood, touches and moves me.
    TV Shows: Little People-Big World, Battlestar Galactica, NCIS, The Unit, The Closer, Medium, Burn Notice and Law & Order: CI. I tape, tape, tape so when I have time I can watch them. I have "marathons" sometimes when nothing else is going on.
    Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (my daughter and I watch it lots). Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo di Caprio, Happy Accidents, the Spanish Prisoner, The Heist and the Spanish Kings.
    Books: The Bible, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, A Pictorial History of China's Great Treasures, A Separate Peace and Space.
    Quotes: My Father wrote this in my Junior High School autograph book when I graduated and to this day it's my favorite, ""As you ramble through Life, Gayle, whatever be your goal. Keep your eye upon the doughnut, and not upon the hole."
    More About Me: When it comes to writing about me I'm at a loss for words. I'm hoping that I'll find a man who wants to spend the rest of his life with me. One who has a good relationship with Jesus and understands that prayer is important. A man who is kind, one I can laugh and cry with. One I can trust, sees me as more than a mate but a good friend who he can be honest with. A man of honor whose is sensitive and passionate. I'm not looking for perfect because I'm not, far from it. I pray that God will bless me with an answered prayer.
