Of course, throw the age thing in there. "Young whippersnapper just wait until you get to be my age." However, I do understand that age does bring some wisdom, but I know MANY more 40+ folks who are much more level headed than I do whack jobs (like some of the people on these boards.). The LARGE majority of population has central political views, unlike this forum. I guess I was just lucky to be surrounded by people who are intelligent and reasonable. No degree can replace that.

I do not believe in 100% of what any political party says, or any individual. Believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see.



Sorry if I jumped to conclusions. Your talk here sounds a whole lot like talk on conspiracy theorist's boards. Congrats on your degree(s) and your minor in Modern European History-20th, you seem to be very proud of them and I'm sure it is very useful in your day to day life. My college degree is in the HVAC field, and plenty of "real life" experience in military weapon systems and counter measure systems.

I do not fall for the propaganda put forth by the media, political parties or extremist on either side of the political scale because, well, I simply do not take other peoples opinions into account when making my own opinions. I am able to form my own opinion on issues based off of my neutral political stance upbringing, life experiences and personal moral traits I have gained over my "short" 26 years of my life. I am sure, just like everything else in life, (other than taxes and d ea th) they will change as I get older. This is something that happens over peoples lives. I am sure there are plenty of 60-70 year old people that sit back and laugh at your views thinking, "I remember when I was that young.".

As for the h a ting older males (especially father figures) I will have to disagree with you. I have great respect for older males (and females) and definitely the utmost respect for my father . They have life experiences that I have yet to encounter, and in some cases hope to never encounter. There is something to be learned from people of all ages (I'm sure there are quite a few younger people who have been through quite a bit more than you). If you think that a bad divorce and losing your children a horrible experience and makes you much more wise than anyone else then I argue say the people of the war torn middle east, Africa and South East Asia who have had their families bodily fluids blown in their face from an AK or mortar round are FAR wiser than you. But in reality, the only thing a bad divorce or a d ea th in the family really gives you is a biased opinion of the system that sc r e w ed you over.

Yes, I actually know more about Philippine history than I do US history. I am fully aware that destroying a culture's history and identity is one of the best ways to integrate them into your own. An ancient Philippine language was completely wiped out of the history books by the Japanese and that part of their culture will be forever lost. As for the Vietnam issue you were talking about; I was aware of their information getting hacked but I had never heard of any government involvement in the situation.

My grandmother in law was around during the Japanese invasion of the Philippines. Very insightful on how thankful I should be to live the life I live.

And btw, it's filipino when referring to males or the people of the Philippines as a whole, filipina when referring to a female and Philippines when referring to the country, but of course your minor wasn't in the history of the Philippines so I won't hold that against you.

And for the "20 somethings think they are indestructible" comment; I have seen first hand that this comment is not true. I am well aware that cars, alcohol, bullets and missiles are quite capable of destroying anyone of any age. I have, however, ran across many, many 20 somethings that think they are indestructible; and usually with a very bad end result. Perhaps you should not place all 20 something year olds into one pool, it's not a very wise thing to do.
