As kids many of our Aunts and Uncles, with active cold sores, would kiss us. Today anyone with a cold sore is treated like they have Ebola.

Quite possibly, STD's aren't readily discussed because it is private matter for each individual.

I've never had an STD nor dated a man with an STD. I'm racking my memory here and I can't bring to mind a friend who has had an STD ... it's just a topic which is never discussed in any social setting I've attended.

We see a lot of posts with questions about when to tell someone, etc. but no real discussion about the experience of dating with an STD.

If anyone is brave enough to share, however, it would be a really terrific learning experience for the Community.

it seem some people are mature enough to discuss about it and others are somewhat immature and rather ignore the topic. Welcome anyone that has any experiences to share, we all would learn something from it.
