I guess I am feeling nostalgic today. Anyone recall what was the topic of the first thread you started " Out there " or here in CSC ?? The thread heart broken reminded me about my first topic in Dating . After exchanging 225 emails I flew to Calgary to meet a EH match...and got stood up. He wouldn't answer his cell phone or return my voice mail messages. Within minutes I had 2 ppl offer support . I was hooked on EhA right then and there.
I don't remember what my first CSC thread .

I started a topic about how eHA was making me feel like I should give up...being a bit overweight and having physical disabilities, and reading threads on those topics, I felt like I had two *huge* strikes against me before I even got a date...

I looked at that thread recently. I got a number of lovely replies from people who would eventually be CSC members, and a much more positive reaction in general than I expected. Like Hoggy said, I was hooked.

My first ever thread anywhere on the boards was in About You and it was titled, "Is Anybody Out There?" I was feeling particularly invisible and unlovable at the time. Some people were very kind, others got a little upset because I mentioned height in there somewhere. Whoops!!! Beginner mistake!

I started my first thread in CSC on the day my furnace broke last February. I think it was called, "It's so cold in here!" - or something like that. I was looking for ways to warm up and everybody certainly came through with interesting ideas! lol

I’m a thread starter virgin! But, I notice today that my posting status has now changed from ‘Newbie’ to ‘Quick Study’ so I’ve at least gotten past that obstacle. I guess the only hurdle left is to take the big leap and start one…but not today!

My first topic 2 topics (I don't remember which was first):

An EH match was emailing me and pushing me to meet him immediately, no email convo... (I know, I know... the sooner the better) but I was new!

The other one was when my engine light came on when I was out at night and I'd never seen that happen before and I got freaked out and became a total chick by wanting some guy to come to my rescue and take care of my car. I had posted earlier on a thread and DL and I were fighting (very funny, I actually told him he had baggage in that thread... see, I spotted it right off the bat!), and then he came to my topic and gave me really thoughtful info. about cars in general and I had to thank him and it just about killed me!

And then he started bugging me to send him a friend request... and we all know how that turned out!

I totally remember my first thread "out there." I was all biotchin' and whining about breaking up with "the guy." Like you guys, I got tons of support and just kept coming back. I don't remember my first CSC thread, but I remember joining the day you-know-who created the group! I also remember my one and only time posting in the OTHER you-know-who's group (you know, the group that THIS group was created to poke fun at), and got flamed within 5 minutes!!! I thought sheesh, what a bunch of BUTTCRACKS and never went back.

Yikes!! I can't remember the first time I posted on here. I just remember I started posting in January...I think. I guess I'll have to look back at my post history.

I can't remember when I first started a thread but my first post was "out there", 26th November 2008. The thread was "Distance...what is too far" and I wrote that I had just flown out to Texas to be with my man for 2 days. Well, here I am nearly a year later and no longer have that man or any other man for that sake. What a difference a year makes
