I recently just joined the E-Harmony community but am a little hesitant 2 join their site. This is because it seems like a site that has mostly older people on it and not enough young people. I'm a 22 year old college student and it just seems like there's not a ton of people that age or in college. Haha again I'm new so if I'm wrong don't bust my balls too much. What has been everyone's experiences involving that?

Predominantly, I would say that most people using eH are older than those of us in this group. It's funny though, if you search through this group or do a search through the profiles for our age range, there is a fair number of people who have registered, but they just never come here.

As for the dating site portion of eH. I would be one to assume that even our age range grows in numbers when you go near a city (NYC, Chicago, Orlando, LA, etc).

their isnt a lot of people with the same age frame, and to make things harder finding someone on ur level of interest and attraction makes things more difficult in finding someone

Haha... I'm too poor to join right now. And I'll admit I'd be a little embarassed admitting it. My brother and most of my friends and cousins are married by now. While I am very happy for them it's also difficult for me because I'm nowhere close to getting married. If I get too old and desperate, though (perhaps 30?), I'll probably try it. But I'm hoping for the sake of my heart and pride (and biological clock) it doesn't resort to that ;-)

Our age group in Houston isn't too bad. I joined due to all my friends being in relationships. I think I just need to find more single friends than join the couple crowd...

Hi there,

I've noticed the same as well. I am a 25 year old single mum living in Australia and there is barely anyone on this site from around my area. Which sucks.

I joinmed this site mainly to meet new people and make friends and to have intellegent conversations with adults than just with a 3 year old lol.

I joined E-Harmony site last year. I was laughed at by many classmates in university since they all thought on-line dating is super dangerous and it seems that I am not a good christian girl to do so.

The result is next month is the anniversary. I am in HK and my boyfriend is in USA. If it is not EH, I don't think I can find him or he can find me.

Honestly I got quite a few matches from women 20-24 when I was actually a paying member receiving matches. Seems like there are people out there, but a very specific type.
