Hi,

First off, I want to say how impressed I am with this site. I met my girlfriend here and we are happily in love. With that said, since we're no longer looking, we will not have the need to use eH for its matching services any more. I know that to cancel a subscription I will need to go into the Account Settings section, but there is no cancel option when I try to do this. I would like to prevent the account from auto-renewing since I am no longer using it. We are both having trouble doing this. What can we do? Thank you for your help!

Do you really think I'm going to go out of my way to look this up for you, when I'm full of envy?

Yes! I am. See http://advice.eharmony.com/boards/gr...-kindness.html

Here is the help page:

https://help-singles.eharmony.com/ap...ption/r_id/166

H'mm I see there is no button to click as the instructions say there should be. Call/email customer care: click the "email:click here" at the bottom of the above page.

Congratulations!

Lol! Maybe the OP and his girlfriend would like to make a post in the Success Stories threads to give others some tips based on their experiences in using eH.

Thanks! I didn't think of trying that email option, but I hope the techies will help me out. I'd be happy to share our story very soon.

orangepenmen31 I have not had much success with eHarmony (or anything else) and I have every bit as much envy as Sassafras54 but I will tell you how to do this.

Open your eHarmony page >click on the My Settings tab near the top of the page > click on Account Settings > scroll down to the Subscription Status section. You will see a Cancel My Subscription there,

That is far as I am going as I don't want to cancel my subscription yet and I don't know if there are more steps after clicking on the Cancel My Subscription or if that is the end.

There are lots more steps after that. They make it as scary as possible to cancel. Your subscriptions won't actually cancel until the time period you've currently paid for has expired.

What you'll really want to do is to "turn off matches" so you don't get any more delivered to your account. That will happen even if you cancel, so don't forget to turn off matching!
