OK this is a newbie question. Hopefully not one seen 10,000 times already.

In a year's time I'll be seeking a new job and I really don't care where I find this job as long as it relates to what I want to do. I'd prefer to stay in the US but wouldn't even rule out a different country, particularly if it is France or Spain, since I can speak a smattering of both languages already.

So I am not sure where I should set my distance parameters ...

If I do the entire country, it seems I only get matches outside my state. If I narrow it down, I get only matches w/in my state but none outside it.

There doesn't seem to be a happy medium?
Well I'm getting matches from all over the country. NY, Corpus Christi ... that doesn't seem to explain those ... though I appreciate the information.

I think there's a "willing to relocate" question or setting when you're answering the questions or on your profile> I know I've seen it before here on eHarmony.
And how do you check those?

I wouldn't mind adjusting a couple of those now that I've had time to reflect on my answers.
