The wink was because that wasn't what I really did. As I posted on here last week I had plans to go with a colleague across the border into Mexico to meet his sister-in-law. The whole visit went great....except for the minor detail of not getting to meet the woman I was supposed to meet.

When we got over there we found out that at the last minute she had to travel for work to another city a couple hours away (at least that was the story I got). I did meet pretty much the rest of her family though...mother, aunt, older sister & her two kids. I also met a triplett sister of the woman I was supposed to meet...and she was really gorgeous, friendly and sweet. She told my colleague to make sure and bring me back again so they could get myself and the other sister together.

I think I was a pretty big hit with the rest of the family...speaking Spanish, playing with the kids etc. and expect the family gave her a great account of me. My colleague and I talked about possibly going over there to play golf one Sunday when this woman doesn't work...but my colleague isn't the most reliable so who knows if it will ever materialize or not. I was pretty bummed that I didn't get to meet this woman....especially after seeing and talking with her triplett sister.

Yeah, seeing a few people at a time forces me to keep an open mind and not become obsessed with one person. At least, that's the theory.

Had two good talks with some good friends. Then I took a road trip to hang out with another good friend over the weekend.

The talks and the drive gave me time to think about things. I'm over my ex so now's the time to get back on eH!

Good for you! Never seems to work for me....but, I'm not exactly taking down my profile yet. Things just seem to be slowing down and I've had a steady Saturday night date.

Oh, yeah, I had a date. It wasn't really what I envisioned, I had plans for us to do one thing and another thing happened....wasn't really a good or bad date. More of a continuation of a date from a few months ago, not sure how I feel about it yet...

Had a lovely 3rd date on Saturday. The touch barrier was broken! I'm not really a touchy-feely kind of person most of the time. ^_^;;

I love road trips! I'm about to go on one myself!

And on that road trip I suspect I'll have some good talks with my best friends -- it's a long drive...lol

That's great that you guys made that step. It's a hard thing to negotiate, you're never exactly sure how the other person will take it.
