6dle, sorry to hear that you split up with your girlfriend. There seemed so much promise there. But thanks for sharing your road trip story and pictures. It sounds and looks like a fabulous night.

Saturday night for me was spent with a girlfriend - dinner then "The Full Monty" with Elaine Stritch in a supporting role at a local theatre. Great show!

Reminds me of Cripple Creek the former gold town in Colorado. I used to take my son there when he was little. The main street looked like this one. Great looking chariot.

I had one of the better dates I've been on (which is saying a lot because all of them have been fantastic). Drove down, and we cooked dinner together (chicken, broccoli, carrots with cinnamon and orange juice, homemade chocolate cookies with caramel and pecans from scratch, and wine), and packed it up in a picnic basket, then went to a park where the NSO was playing, sat down on a picnic blanket, had a wonderful dinner, then listened to the NSO outside, and it was fantastic! The weather was great, the music was great, and the company was out of this world.
