Well, here in the Poeple's Republic of New Jersey, the weather has been pretty delightful for the past few weeks.

Remarkable, actually.

Moving to California from Kansas was a blast! A new life out here in sunny beautiful California is absolutely amazing and its what I REALLY needed. Going the the gym everyday, helping my mom,and being around the family makes me so happy.

I am sorry to hear that pukeko! Chirrup. The guys out there may not know what they're missing, but *you* do. Go ahead. Enjoy it. Gloat about it. Revel in your singleness! Here are some great reasons to be single.

1. Nobody else's drool on your pillow.
2. All your goofball habits and quirks don't have to be explained, tolerated, or suffered through. Be you and love it!
3. No gold diggin' menz hunting after your munificent hoard.
4. All the *you* time you want!

...Okay, so there *is* something missing. I get that. Not having the perfectly wonderful, splendiferously org-asmic other half we all want tends to inhale profusely. I miss hugs, definitely kisses, good conversation with one who knows me best, that clean-woman-just-washed-hair smell, random backrubs, and just having someone to spoil rotten. I miss it lots and lots. You'd probably have to be single to even guess how bad it su- oh, you are single, so I guess you'd know.

But I'm thinking, being in a relationship can't be the end-all be-all right now. If I start thinking that way, I'll slip over to the bad side of madness, where I don't want to go. Can't give in to those lonely thoughts and despondent emotions. Those things will, among other things, drive away potential more-than-friends for you! So perkolate! Fill up your joy bucket with humor and laughter. Enjoy what in life you love best. And when that special someone you can share it with comes along, you'll be ready with everything he ever dreamed of to be just the right match for him.

It will get better. Just be ready to catch it when it comes at you, hey? Good luck pukeko- and all you other pining ones out there, just like me.

aka, it sucks, LOL.

BUT I'm going to Scotland in July! Something awesome to look forward to, at least! (and lots of men in kilts!)

That was the only right answer.
And you have a choice of 2 prizes to pick from:
1. 9 months supply of your favorite flavor of Ice Cream
2. A trip to the Moon in cyberspace

I am so jealous of you. Not because of the men in kilts, but because it's *scotland!* My ancestors are from there, and I've got some relatives across the water I'd love to visit someday. Have fun over there- I know I would!

I find it ominous that you offer yourself to him for *nine months.*

I do too, I'm going there for the Gathering 2009 (google it if you're interested in ancestry! ); once in a lifetime chance, hoo boy! I also want to see my clan's various lands and castles before Trump turns all of Aberdeenshire into a darned golf course
