I wish I could go on this. For one, it sounds like it could be so much fun. For two, I would LOVE to go back to NZ again. I spent 3 weeks there back in 07 and absolutely adored the country. Plus, it is a great place for adventures. You could meet someone on the plane and then go bungy jumping with them off of a bridge or maybe off of Sky Tower!

Too bad I will have only been back in the country for 2 weeks at that point and my job would kill me if I tried to leave again so soon.

How about also working on being on time and maybe not sending your suitcase to the wrong city?

Yeah, that's my idea of fun, a party then a 15 hour flight with a lot of women who just rejected me while "speed dating." I suppose it's good for the guys who don't take no very easily since the women have nowhere to run. I just see it as an uncomfortable experience.

It seems nobody wants to talk about this ad.

I have T-Mobile "Modile Makeover" at the moment. Perhaps that's more interesting?

The article poses the question "Have you ever noticed how many attractive guys and girls you see while traveling?" and I have to answer, No!!!

When I am traveling I notice annoying people, some who travel in herds with twice the baggage allowance, and I especially notice those with poor personal hygiene.

I fly through the LA airport regularly now and I have not noticed a glut of beautiful people.

Maybe I am adding back on non-PC post, but the notion of being stuck on a match-making flight seems like a vacation in Hades to me. As far as I can tell from the website, there aren't even any criteria for matching or screening people (although you can start flirting in advance of the flight....yay!) Maybe there's more info if you take the leap and sign up, but no thanks!

HA, Mel this made me laugh. I ALWAYS see good looking guys on flights....but they are usually sitting next to the good looking lady they're traveling with

So - out of curiosity, what do you guys think WOULD make this kind of an idea more appealing to you?

This idea makes think back to my earliest college days when I took an "Orientation Flight" chartered by my school from the east coast to the west coast to start college, and though the context was different, I had a great time on this flight which was designed to be a "get to know you" sort of event. In fact, one of my closest college friends to this day (half a lifetime later), I met on that flight. So it actually sounds pretty good to me!

Who wants to watch the boards for me while I go to New Zealand?!
