My advice to you, PY-elope!Thatshould take care ofsome ofyour worries. Personally, I think "big wedding" is over-rated -especially with the high divorce rates we havenowadays. Save that money fordownpayment of your new home,upcoming babies or college funds for your kids (unless, of course,you have a rich daddy who is paying for the wedding).
haha..i think for me big wedding is inevitable and no..I don't wanna elope.


Divorce rate yes, it's high in the US, but I still have a pretty decent chance overseas...at the very least it's not 50/50 there..plus I have a much higher hope that I am not as invisible as I am here to women (romantically speaking).

I tend to think about the rigmarole surrounding. I don't expect to get married; if I did, eloping sounds like a really good idea.

Pukeko...I just know you will have SO much fun planning your own wedding some day!!


But don't get worried if the guy isn't in to the planning..it's really not most guy's thing...Normally they just say.."whatever you want dear"...they care about the Bachelor party.

Hey kid....it's the ceremony/party that means little to me. I very much look forward to actually being married. Just not to the ceremony. Same way I look forward to completing my degree....but going through the commencement ceremony means little to me (and I will actually miss this as I have to move prior to the ceremony).


Also, listening to women longingly recount their past 'dream' weddings makes me think of the possibility of my marrying a woman who's previously had such a great ceremony. This gives me a feeling of my marriage to such a woman being somehow less special to herthan what she previously had.

actually, i don't dream so much about my wedding.i actuallyhaven't though of it until recently. not that i met that groom, god knows where he is. i know that i should have one just to give something back to my family. it's not so much for me or my hun . ihave a lot of relatives who are very poor and woul love a wedding. for my day i wlkajs thinking about renting a boat, let it cruise in the ocean; i will have lots of shrimps, chocolate, wine and cake. i'll haul all my relatives from their poor villages in a big bus, put them in the boat and i swear they will give a night to remember. i won't even accept their $20 wedding present.


i would be just fine getting married in my backyard or at the city hall.

congratulations for completing your study jayjay. too bad that you won't go to your commencement. i probably won't go to mine either. but i may have to because my professors would want to see me there. that means i might have to take a day of work. i don't care about the commencement, i am really sick and tired with my thesis. i just want to turn in the darn thing.
