In the world of relationships, some people are high maintenance, and others let their high maintenance partners walk all over them. Some people are lone wolves, content to howl at the moon rather than whimper for their lovers, and some people are thoughtful jugglers who can manage to keep all their own expectations and responsibilities balanced, so that both they and their loved ones feel self-respect.
But which one are you?

“Take Our Quiz: Are you High Maintenance?”
I've always been an outgoing individual and never say much except when it was necessary at the time. No matter what the situation I never allow anyone to manipulate my feelings based on what others may say or do. I usually enjoy being with an old friend from time to time especially when they may not be able to visit very often. I try to make the best of a bad situation, not allowing my significant other to tell me that I should be willing to give in to his/her demands even at the cost of my self-respect.

Though it may say so fr. quiz, I would actually choose different ways to respond than the quiz offered. Smashed fingers--rush into friend's house and ask for ice & tylenol--stay or go depending on how things work...allergic to shellfish--go and have great time, if I only have salad, I'll have room for dessert, splurge on appetizer, maybe. Old friend vs. season finale wi. spouse--If we can't tape it, maybe we'll get a room next to airport so can combine seeing old friend, finale, & mini-bonus time away--I've got bigger problems if this isn't in some way doable...
Creative problem solver! I like it!
